Rumors about the GMC Denali trim level adds to the Canyon mid-size pickups since introduced to 2015. Heck, even GMC's vice president of sales, Duncan Aldred, has been quoted as saying he wanted the topping various levels of trim added to the mix.
It makes sense, too. Any other GMC products offer an upgraded version of luxury style with a distinctive exterior and interior ornaments are magnificent-save for savana van. What's more, the Denali trim allegedly contributes about 25 percent of the GMC sales, meaning customers need an upscale look and feel.

Meet the 2017 Canyon GMC Denali-or at least our idea of it. Honestly though, the Denali trim is fairly easy to imagine. Add grating cheese grater, large wheels, chrome accents, premium and paint and you've got your own Denali. It is also a safe bet this appeal now that model year GMC Duramax 2.8-liter four-cylinder engine in the market to 2016.
Many changes wrapped into Denali trim is a visual update to the outside. The most obvious is bright mesh grille which is juxtaposed to the Red GMC lettering. HID lights with daytime running LED lights will also be present, although they can be found in the Canyon today. Add Standard fog lamps, tow hooks and accents chrome mirror caps, door handles, side step, and bumpers, and things start looking very Denali-ish.
GMC will probably introduce a new wheel option or two to Canyon-would probably by 20 inches. Outside chrome add-on bits and large wheels, don't expect the body to change the badge with Denali.
While looking good is part of the experience Denali Denali hubbub, many centered on the refinement of the interior. Expect high-quality leather seats with French stitching. The skin should extend to the door panels, Center console, and the dashboard, while the original wood and aluminum accents are also very possible.
Things like eight-inch touchscreen with GMC's IntelliLink standard software will, along with all the upgrades Apple CarPlay, Auto and services Android 4 G LTE Wi-Fi. Optional features such as advanced collision safety monitoring and lane departure warning will also be standard equipment.
GMC not reinvent the interior arrangement of the Canyon, but expect the mood in taking an obvious luxury.
Because the peak trim trim level of the Denali Canyon, the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will not be found here. 3.6-liter V-6 is likely to be the standard engine with 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel which became optional upgrade. Six-speed automatic transmission was only choice will be. Trucks equipped with 4WD will get electronically controlled transfer case.
Although unlikely, it would be awesome for the GMC introduced the 5.3-liter V-8 EcoTec3 into the Canyon via the Denali trim. 355-horsepower small-block will give performance on an incredible straight line also enhances towing numbers.
